The Challenge
KMS Air Conditioning was asked to install heating and cooling within a newly built office in Beaconsfield. The installation required new pipework and ducting to be routed neatly through the property, while working around a restricted drilling window between 12pm and 1pm due to an agreement with the upstairs office.
The Solution
KMS installed two 3.5kW Mitsubishi Heavy Industries wall-mounted indoor units connected to a single 8kW outdoor condenser. Wall-mounted controllers were fitted to give simple, independent control of the office temperature, with the pipework and ducting positioned carefully to suit the newly finished space.
The Result
Because drilling could only take place during a limited one-hour window, KMS returned to site across three visits to complete the installation without disrupting the neighbouring office. The finished system provides reliable year-round heating and cooling while keeping the installation neat and sympathetic to the new office fit-out.
